“How it works for tenants” will explain to users how to rent a property in a secure way. If you have any specific demand or question, you can contact HomeSwissHome by phone or email.

1. Search Properties

 can search and send requests for the perfect property you are looking for.

  • short term rentals
  • workspaces (per hour)
  • event places

A lot of information is listed on the property page. If you need more information you can ask your questions to the landlord directly.

2. Register as a tenant

-> Choose the option “i only want to book”

-> You receive an email with your generated password (that you can customize after from your dashboard)

-> You login and can access to your account dashboard.

3. Account dashboard

You now have access to your personal dashboard:

  • Your profile: from which you can add/change your details + add your bank details to receive your refunds or security deposit.
  • see the approval requests and respond to them, check your favorites, chat with landlords.
  • check your invoices in “my RESERVATIONS”

4. Send a booking request

Your booking request is send to the landlord directly! You will be introduced to the owner with some basic details. No sensitive or contact details will be disclosed.

-> Check your dashboard on “reservations” and emails to see if your booking request will be approved or rejected by the landlord.

5. Secured payments

-> Once the landlord approve your booking request

-> You will get the invoice in your dasboard under “reservations”

-> You just need to check and pay the invoice to confirm your booking

6. Check in

Check in times should be communicated by the landlord. Do not forget to make good pictures and a video of the property when arriving at the apartment. If you are not happy this is the time to let us know!

7. Check out

If no complain from the tenant -> The security deposit will be returned to you after you have checked out and the property is left as you have found it!

-> If no cancellation from your side, the landlord will receive the rent you paid (less only 5% of service fees for the website maintenance and the transactions fees).

8. Write a review

Dont forget to write a review about your place and the landlord on, that will help other users and your landlord to get further bookings.

-> To write a review, go to your dashboard -> to “my reservation” -> the button to write a review will be unlocked after your check out date.
